Heat Tolerant. Known as Red Calaloo in the Caribbean. Medium green, oval to heart-shaped leaves are overlaid with burgundy red. Comparable to spinach in taste, the leaves are a good source of dietary fiber and contain high amounts of protein, vitamins, and minerals. Often used in soups. Harvest in 58 days.

Mustard Greens Red Giant 500 Organic Seeds
Succulent golden green leaves with orange stems. 1½" leaves are much larger than the wild form of purslane. Upright growth habit. Flavor is crisp and mild. Pick as needed to within 2" of the base; new stems and leaves regrow. Known as "verdolaga" in Latin America. Sensitive to frost. After spring frost danger, sow about ½" apart in the row; cover ¼". Thin to 4-6" apart. Can also be transplanted. Harvest in about 60 days.
Purslane Goldberg Golden 500 Open Pollinated Seeds
Heat Tolerant. Green fleshy leaves and red upright stems. Same crisp mild taste and upright growth as Golden Purslane with smaller leaves. Pick as needed to within 2" of base. New leaves and stems will regrow. Sensitive to frost. Called "verdolaga" in Spanish. After danger of frost has passed sow 1/2" apart in the row, cover 1/4". Thin to 4-6" apart. Harvest in about 57 days.
