Buy Heat Tolerant Seeds Home Page

This is our buy heat tolerant seeds home page.  This is a list of heat tolerant seeds we sell. We have designed this page around growing in San Antonio, Texas but are sure it will work for areas where it gets hot in the summer time.

We plan on growing some of these ourselves to check and see if the companies claiming they are heat tolerant are telling the truth.

It may seem weird for other parts of the country where snow is still on the ground, but in Texas, at the beginning of April, we are in the spring growing season.

Summers in the San Antonio heat can be brutal.  Many gardeners will grow for the spring and then give up because of the heat.  They do not realize that San Antonio Texas is a four season gardeners delight.

There are things that can be grown in the summer, fall, winter and spring.

This page will focus on things that can be grown in the summertime.

UPDATE:  The thing that I have learned is that the seeds need to be started in a seed starter of some sort and then transplanted.  If I direct sow, I have to water everyday and I just do not have the time for that.  The only thing that came up of the items I direct sowed was the Astro Arugula and bush beans.
