Everyone wants to plant organic heirloom tomato seeds this year. David
is offering several different kinds of tomatoes. I
have packed thousands of tomato seeds from December until now with many
more months of tomato orders. Above is the Jasper Cherry Tomato.
Pictured above is the Yellow Brandywine.
Perhaps the most popular type of tomato that I have packed is the Tycoon hybrid which is not an heirloom variety. They are selling like hotcakes. Fortunately, David knew they would be the single most popular tomato seed this season so he ordered a lot of them. We still have some left, but they are going fast.
Pictured above is the Tycoon Tomato which was the rodeo favorite here in San Antonio in 2011. It is not an organic heirloom but many people grow this here in Texas.
David is also offering a 10-variety combo pack of heirloom tomato seeds right now where you get 10 seeds each of 10 of his top-selling tomatoes. If you have lots of room in your garden, this is the way to order them!
The ten variety combination pack of tomatoes has a great selection of delicious, juicy tomatoes for you to try at home. We have six different varieties planted in our greenhouse right now and I cannot wait to try them all. We have been trying the "vine-ripe" tomatoes at the grocery store and they are okay, but they taste nothing like a home-grown tomato.
Eat them fresh right off the vine, use them in sandwiches and salads, can them, freeze them, give them away. Try making ketchup and barbecue sauce in your kitchen. I love to make my own spaghetti sauce with fresh tomatoes. I also make chili with fresh tomatoes instead of canned. The flavor is so much fresher when you use garden-ripe tomatoes from your own backyard garden.
When you grow your own vegetables, you don't need to worry about pesticides or GMO (genetically modified organisms) polluting your food. You know where it came from and how it was grown so you know it is safe for your family to eat.
Tomatoes are one of the easiest vegetables to grow so we suggest starting out with them if you are a new gardener.

seed-starting tray that I ordered was sent and received in a timely
manner, and, as expected, is very well-made. In addition, the seller
responds to messages very promptly and politely, which is a rarity in a
day and age when a person generally gets stuck on the phone with
elevator music for an eternity!"
