Grow Bunching Onions!

Bunching Onions Taste Great!

This week, we are focusing on growing flavorful bunching onions that you can easily grow in your backyard garden.

Bunching onions are also known as green onions or scallions. You eat the green stems as well as the tiny white bulb at the bottom. They are great raw, sauteed or added to any dish. You can find all of our Bunching Onion Seeds here.

Bunching onions are very hardy, and many varieties are well-suited to winter harvest or overwintering. While other types of onions can be marketed in bunches, true bunching onions are cultivars of a specific species, generally Allium fistulosum, though there are exceptions.
