Plant Spinach Seeds

Plant Spinach In Your Fall Garden

It is time to think about your fall garden if you live in a warm climate. Today we will talk about delicious spinach leaves. Fresh healthy spinach leaves are wonderful in salads and on sandwiches. They are also great when added to cooked dishes.

Spinach is fine when it is grown in the spring, but when it is grown in the fall and kissed by the cool air, it tastes sweeter and seems crisper. The same is true with any greens you grow in the fall.

David's Garden SeedsĀ® has a wonderful variety of spinach seeds for you to choose from. Just go to, click SHOP and then click Vegetable Seeds. All of the veggie seeds we offer are in alphabetical order.

All of our varieties of spinach do well in the fall. They take anywhere from 14 up to 60 days until they are ready for harvest. Here in Texas, you can plant them at the end of August through September and they will be ready to harvest in the middle of September through the first two weeks of November.

The secret to planting spinach is to plant some each week so you have fresh spinach each week.
