This page gives instructions on how to buy Doomsday Hybrid Cucumber Seeds from David's Garden Seeds®.
When it comes to cucumbers there are pickling and slicing types.
David recommends the Calypso and Carolina for pickling and the Olympian and Dasher as slicers.
Cucumber Pickling Calypso 1000 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
The Calypso is an exceptionally early cuke with heavy yields of uniform, straight, blocky 3 to 4 inches long x 1 inch, medium dark green fruits with white spines. Pollinator added 12-15% by weight. Harvest in about 60 days.
Cucumber Pickling Carolina 1000 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Straight, blocky, 3 inch long, medium green fruit with white spines. Medium size plant with good vigor. Suitable for hand harvesting. Pollinator added 12-15% by weight. Harvest in about 60 days.
Cucumber Slicing Olympian 1000 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
The best combination of flavor, yield, and appearance. Year after year, Olympian continues to come out on top as the best tasting American-style slicer. Olympian's beautiful, dark green, straight, 8–9 inch long fruits are crisp with fresh flavor. Very uniform and productive over a long season, with exceptionally high proportions of marketable fruit. A winning combination of flavor, yield, and appearance. Gynoecious with 10% pollenizer added. Intermediate resistance to anthracnose, angular leaf spot, downy mildew, powdery mildew, and scab.
Cucumber Slicing Dasher 1000 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Uniform, smooth dark green, straight, 8 inches long x 2 inches slightly tapered fruit. Highly productive, top quality performer. Pollinator added 12-15% by weight. Harvest in about 60 days.
Quick note: Hybrids are not good for producing seeds.
