Cucumber Gherkin AdamCucumber Gherkin Adam

Cucumber Gherkin Adam 25 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds

High-quality European pickler. Adam Gherkin produces high yields of uniform fruits in a broad range of climates. Fruits are blanketed with tiny spines in the true European 'cornichon' style. Dependable for great flavor, crisp texture, and even color. Nicely proportioned even at 2–3". Suitable for field or greenhouse production.  Harvest in about 50 days

Mexican Sour Gherkin Cucumber

Cucumber Gherkin Mexican Sour 50 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds

A unique specialty cucumber. Cute, one inch long long fruits look like miniature watermelons and taste like cucumbers with citrus and tangy overtones. Vines start growing slowly but can get up to 10 feet long. Can be eaten fresh or pickled.  Also known as the Cucamelon and Mouse Melon. Not particularly high yielding. Trellising recommended.  NOTE: We recommend harvesting these cucumbers promptly as they tend to get seedy if allowed to grow longer than 1 inch.  Harvest in about 70 days.

Parisian Gherkin Cucumber

Cucumber Gherkin Parisian 50 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds

Excellent mini or gherkin cucumber which can be picked either at the midget size or small pickle stage and processed. 24 inch semi-vining compact plants set masses of scrumptious sweet, crisp little black-spined cukes! 10 to 12 inch high vigorous plants produce about 20 to 25 fruits. Best picked 2 to 4 inches long. They are delectable raw, sliced, processed and adds a dash of pizazz to any dish!  Harvest in about 50 days.

All of the variety information on the David's Garden Seeds® website, including the days to maturity, color and size are based on data from tests done at specific locations. Many factors, including geographic location, daytime and nighttime temperatures, the availability of plant nutrients, many unknown climate factors and insects/pest interact to determine a variety's performance. For information on which varieties will perform best in your area, we recommend that you contact your local county extension agent or a Master Gardener.
