Onion Short-Day Crystal White Wax 500 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Short day. Medium size, pearl onion. Early maturing. Flesh is waxy white, coarse with a mild flavor. Bulbs are flat 2 ½-3 ½” in diameter with a thin white scale. Very adapted to southern US, especially TX but is grown on the West Coast with excellent results. Great for stews, soups and stir-fries. Caramelizes to perfection! Harvest in about 90 days.
Onion Short-Day Desert Sunrise 200 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Beautiful flat-round bulbs with rich purple skins. Most bolt-tolerant red onion in ME and NH overwintering trials. Very sweet flavor with a spicy kick in the spring. Attractive bunches at 2" diameter, but can also be grown to 3" bulbs. Harvest-ready for spring markets (mid-late May, early June). Overwinter Desert Sunrise alongside Bridger for red and yellow spring onions. Also an excellent onion for fall and spring sowing in the South. For short-term storage (2-3 months). 100 days to harvest if spring sown and 160 days if fall sown in the South.
Onion Short-Day Plethora 200 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Plethora Onion is a short-day, yellow onion that performs well in the southern states. This sweet onion variety produces yellow, granex-style onions that are slightly flattened. Plethora onions are huge! This variety produces jumbo, colossal onions that are easily larger than a softball. These perform best when planted in the fall and overwintered. If your winter temps are rarely below 20 degrees, this is the preferred growing method. Harvest in about 180 days.

Onion Short-Day Texas 1015Y 200 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Released in 1983. The Texas 1015 onion was developed by the legendary Dr. Leonard Pike of Texas A&M University, it's name derives from the planting date in Texas (October 15). The bigger it gets the sweeter it gets. Texas 1015 onions can weigh up to a pound or more! Stores up to two months if cured properly. The Texas 1015 is considered a Short Day onion, but many times it takes longer for bulbs to develop, so it can be used in Intermediate and Long Day areas. Has been grown from Mexico to Ohio. Harvest in about 110 days.
Onion Short-Day White Castle 200 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Large, white, round bulbs for the South. From our trials in southern growing areas, we have found White Castle to be a very uniform yielder. Suitable for overwintering. To maintain white color, cure in the field as briefly as possible. Stores 3-4 months. Adaptation: 30°-38° latitude. Fortified with natural defenses for healthy plants. Harvest in about 110 days.
