This page tells how to buy spinach seeds from David's Garden Seeds. On this page you will find all of our heirloom, open pollinated and hybrid varieties of great tasting spinach you can grow in just a few short days. Spinach is good for winter, fall and spring production. Some will even produce during the heat of summer but usually are not as good as spinach produced during other times of the year. Spinach is one of the greens that can be canned for later use.

New Zealand Spinach 100 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Though many herbivores prefer its taste to other spinach varieties, truth be told that ‘New Zealand Spinach” is not really a proper spinach at all. It looks and tastes similar to its namesake, but technically its botanical classification is a little different.
Nonetheless, this tasty and fascinating heirloom veggie has been grown since the 1770’s after being initially introduced by famed British botanist Sir Joseph Banks, who collected it on his journey to the South Seas with Captain James Cook. New Zealand Spinach is particularly noted for its extremely high vitamin content. Harvest in about 60 days.
