Asia IP Shiso Seeds are a new flat-leaf green type. Leaves are similar to Britton type in shape and size, but are medium green with pink tinge on undersides. Stronger flavor than standard green shiso with uniform, full habit.

Asia IP 200 Open Pollinated Seeds
Eye-catching green leaves with red undersides. Good salad mix item, or use larger leaves as sushi wraps or garnishes. Larger leaf and plant than our Red and Green Shisos. Mild mint/basil aroma.
Also good for ornamental use. Leaves show best color contrast when grown in temperatures below 85ºF/29ºC. Also known as Perilla.

Britton Shiso Herb (Multi) 200 Open Pollinated Seeds
Green Shiso is a spicy Oriental favorite. Distinct cinnamon/clove flavor and aroma, with the spiciness of cumin. Used in oriental cooking, sushi and salad mix. Red Shiso colors radish pickles and "umeboshi" plums. Shiso is a member of the mint family, and has been used in Asian remedies for centuries. It is traditionally used as a natural remedy in China, Japan, India and Vietnam. Ready to harvest in 80 days.
Green Shiso 200 Open Pollinated Seeds
Also known as Japanese Perilla this common culinary herb features attractive reddish purple leaves and a flavor that has been likened to a blend of coriander, cinnamon and citrus. Sometimes called Red Mint, the culinary uses of this powerhouse herb are almost endless--from salads, to sushi to pickling!

Perilla Shiso (Red) 500 Open Pollinated Seeds
Red Shiso is also a spicy Oriental favorite. Distinct cinnamon/clove flavor and aroma, with the spiciness of cumin. Used in oriental cooking, sushi and salad mix. Red Shiso colors radish pickles and "umeboshi" plums. Choose from red- or green-leaved varieties. The flowers are a flavorful addition to salads and Asian dishes.
