Compact plants produce a mass of bright, bi-colored flowers that are great in containers. Also known as common sunflower and annual sunflower. Pollenless. Blooms in about 55 days.
Sunflower Dwarf Branching Stem Holiday 25 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Classic sunflower appeal. Traditional, golden-yellow rays with
dark brown disks. Bears armfuls of 3-5" blooms on 12-20" stems. Bears
pollen; good for bee forage. Flower buds can be fried and the petals used as a garnish in salads and desserts; the flavor is bittersweet. Ht. 60–70". Blooms in about 90 days.
Sunflower Dwarf Branching Stem Santa Lucia 100 Non-GMO, Open Pollinated Seeds
Direct sow in early spring after the danger of frost has passed. Can be sown as late as 100 days before killing frost. Requires full sun, adapted to a wide range of soil types but prefers well drained soil with a ph of 6.5 - 7.5. Fertilizer should coincide with plants needs & general health. If needed apply fertilizer at a rate of 2 - 2½ lbs of actual nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. as a side dressing before the plants reach 1 foot in height. Blooms in about 90 days.
Sunflower Dwarf Branching Stem Sungold 50 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Sunflower ‘Dwarf Sungold’ is a dwarf sunflower variety that is also known as “Teddy Bear.” It produces 4-inch double yellow, “fluffy” flowers with a small green “eye.” Flowering stems produce multiple blooms. These sunflowers grow 24-36 inches tall. Blooms in about 60 days.
Sunflower Dwarf Branching Stem Topolino 50 Non-GMO, Open Pollinated Seeds
This Dwarf Sunflower with a branching habit is ideally suited to border and bedding plantings, but also performs well in a container. Medium sized, single flowers feature classic bright yellow petals around a dark center. Blooms in about 60 days.
