David's tall sunflower series consists of two main types: branching, which produces an abundance of blooms per plant and single-stem, prized by cut-flower farmers for its stem length and strength and large bloom size.
Sunflower Tall Branching Stem Autumn Beauty 50 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Reminiscent of fall leaves. Bold, beautiful flowers up to 8" across. Bright yellow, bronze, and purple shades with some bi-colors. Bears pollen; good for bee forage. Stem length is 15-44". Also known as common sunflower and annual sunflower. Branching; produces many long stems. Edible Flowers: Flower buds can be fried and the petals used as a garnish in salads and desserts; the flavor is bittersweet. Blooms in about 80 days.
Buttercream Sunflower 25 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Tall Branching. An early bloomer with great color and habit. Pale, butter-yellow flowers with brown centers are 3 1/2-4 1/2" across. Long side branches that continue to provide blooms for several weeks make this a perfect cut flower. Pollenless. Grows to a height of 48 to 58 inches. Blooms in about 70 days.
Chocolate Sunflower 25 Non-GMO, Open Pollinated Seeds
