This page gives instructions on how to buy sweet corn seeds from David's Garden Seeds. Fresh sweet corn is a summer tradition and a standard crop in home gardens and farmers' markets across America.
Corn Sweet Bilicious 100 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Bilicious is an exemplary bi-colored sweet corn that is renowned for being an excellent mid-season variety. Bilicious produces 8 inch ears on 6 to 7 foot stalks. Harvest in about 70 days.
Corn Sweet Country Gentleman 100 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Introduced in 1890, Country Gentleman Sweet Corn produces 8 inch long ears on very tall stalks. Kernels are not laid out in rows but instead are packed in a zigzag pattern. Sweet and delicious, kernels stand up well frozen for corn throughout the winter. Harvest in about 90 days.
Corn Sweet Delectable 100 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
The plant produces good yields of 8 to 9" long small kernel of bi-colored ears of corn. There are 16 to 20 rows of small kernels. They are remarkably sweet and tender. A Sugary Enhanced Variety (se+). Also recommended for baby corn production. An excellent choice for home gardens and market growers. Disease Resistant: MDMV, NCLB, R, RM, SW. Harvest in about 90 days.
Corn Sweet Double Standard 100 Non-GMO
The first bi-color, open-pollinated sweet corn. Early maturing with strong germination in cool soil. We developed this hardy corn for northern home gardeners, especially seed-saving enthusiasts. It is based on a nice yellow corn called Burnell that was grown in Maine in the early 1900's and an early white heirloom from New York's St. Lawrence Valley. Nice-sized, averaging 7 inch, ears with 12 to 14 rows of yellow and white kernels, some ears with yellow kernels only. Unlike the seeds of hybrid bi-color corn, which are all yellow, these are yellow and white. If desired, you can have early, all-white corn simply by planting only white kernels. Excellent traditional corn taste. Vigorous 5 foot plants. Harvest in about 75 days.
Corn Sweet Essence 100 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Performance and flavor for the full-season. A long, beautiful ear wrapped in a protected package. Ears are well-placed on the tall, sturdy plants. Tips fill out nicely. Intermediate resistance to northern corn leaf blight, common rust, and Stewart's wilt. Harvest in about 70 days.
Corn Sweet Golden Bantam 12 Row 100 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Golden Bantam Sweet Corn produces 5 to 6 foot stalks that can be planted more closely than other varieties. Ears are 6 and ½ inches long with 8 rows of golden yellow kernels. The milk stage is short so the ears must be picked without delay when the silks are dry. Similar to Golden Beauty Sweet Corn. Harvest in about 80 days.
Corn Sweet Silver Queen 100 Non-GMO, Hybrid Seeds
Sweet Silver Queen Sweet Corn has 8 inches, slightly tapered ears that are filled with 14 to 16 rows of sweet, richly flavored, tender white kernels. Great tip fill. Dark green, tight husks, and abundant dark flags. 7 foot plants. Requires warm 65°F soil to germinate properly. Intermediate resistance to northern corn leaf blight and Stewart's wilt. Harvest in about 90 days.
Corn Sweet Stowell's Evergreen 100 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Here is your chance to grow a corn in your garden that predates our Civil War, Stowell's Evergreen Sweet Corn! Though this is one of the oldest, sweetest white corns available, it is still a favorite among many. Matures slowly over a long period of time and then rewards the gardener with plump, sweet, white kernels. Harvest in about 110 days.
