Country Gentleman Sweet Corn 100 Heirloom Seeds
Introduced in 1890, Country Gentleman Sweet Corn produces 8 inch long ears on very tall stalks. Kernels are not laid out in rows but instead are packed in a zigzag pattern. Sweet and delicious, kernels stand up well frozen for corn throughout the winter. Harvest in about 90 days.
Double Standard Sweet Corn 100 Organic Seeds
The first bi-color, open-pollinated sweet corn. Early maturing with strong germination in cool soil. We developed this hardy corn for northern home gardeners, especially seed-saving enthusiasts. It is based on a nice yellow corn called Burnell that was grown in Maine in the early 1900's and an early white heirloom from New York's St. Lawrence Valley. Nice-sized, averaging 7 inch, ears with 12 to 14 rows of yellow and white kernels, some ears with yellow kernels only. Unlike the seeds of hybrid bi-color corn, which are all yellow, these are yellow and white. If desired, you can have early, all-white corn simply by planting only white kernels. Excellent traditional corn taste. Vigorous 5 foot plants. Organically grown. Harvest in about 75 days.
Golden Bantam 12 Row Sweet Corn 100 Heirloom Seeds
Golden Bantam Sweet Corn produces 5 to 6 foot stalks that can be planted more closely than other varieties. Ears are 6 and ½ inches long with 8 rows of golden yellow kernels. The milk stage is short so the ears must be picked without delay when the silks are dry. Similar to Golden Beauty Sweet Corn. Harvest in about 80 days.
Stowell's Evergreen Sweet Corn 100 Heirloom Seeds
Here is your chance to grow a corn in your garden that predates our Civil War, Stowell's Evergreen Sweet Corn! Though this is one of the oldest, sweetest white corns available, it is still a favorite among many. Matures slowly over a long period of time and then rewards the gardener with plump, sweet, white kernels. Harvest in about 110 days.
Silver Queen Sweet Corn 100 Hybrid Seeds
Sweet Silver Queen Sweet Corn has 8 inches, slightly tapered ears that are filled with 14 to 16 rows of sweet, richly flavored, tender white kernels. Great tip fill. Dark green, tight husks, and abundant dark flags. 7 foot plants. Requires warm 65°F soil to germinate properly. Intermediate resistance to northern corn leaf blight and Stewart's wilt. Harvest in about 90 days.
