Special Statement 01-15-2021:  Many seed suppliers are closing down until they catch up with garden seeds orders. Or, they are saying it will be weeks until they get the orders out. Here at David's Garden Seeds®, we spent the fall getting ready for the seed rush of 2021. We hired and trained new people. I spent every dime I had in the bank buying seeds. We moved our company out to the farm and reset our whole operation so we could pull orders quicker and smoother.

Homegrown Is Best

Growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers is a lot of fun. Homegrown veggies taste a lot better than the ones you find at the grocery store. They cost less (after initial set up) and are healthier. They usually contain more nutrients since they are allowed to ripen on the vine, especially tomatoes. Plus, you control what is put on your garden. You no longer have to feed your family vegetables that have been sprayed with harmful chemicals. You can choose to use organic, safe products or none at all in your garden.

You have not eaten a tomato until you have eaten one that you allowed to vine-ripen on your own tomato plants in your garden. That is also true of the other vegetables and fruits you grow.

We specialize in growing tomatoes and tomato grafting as well as growing hot pepper plants like the Ghost Pepper and the Reaper Pepper.

We offer over 1700 varieties of seeds.  Many of them are heirloom.  You are sure to find some seeds you would like to try in your home garden. Our seeds change as we find beautiful, new varieties that we know you will love so check back often!

All of the variety information on the David's Garden Seeds® website, including the days to maturity, color and size are based on data from tests done at specific locations. Many factors, including geographic location, daytime and nighttime temperatures, the availability of plant nutrients, many unknown climate factors and insects/pest interact to determine a variety's performance. For information on which varieties will perform best in your area, we recommend that you contact your local county extension agent or a Master Gardener.
